Scott Hawaii was founded in 1932 by Elmer and Jean Scott, who fell in love with the islands during a vacation and decided to make Hawaii their home. They began manufacturing boots for the workers of the pineapple and sugar plantations. The onset of World War II led the company to transition to producing sandals and more casual styles, which made them the leader in the local production of slides for men and women.

Now in its third generation, Scott Hawaii continues to uphold the same principles, dedication, and vision that guided the founders. Although the styling has evolved, the quality of the flip flops for men and women and attention to detail remain the same.
